Talbot Green has seen much development over recent years. This can be attributed to its close proximity to J34 of the M4.

Many large out of town shopping centres can be found spread over two independent retail parks. There is also the new Royal Glamorgan Hospital plus a number of business parks which include organisations such as the Royal Mint, Headquarters of South Wales Fire Brigade and British Aerospace to name just three.
